Last week our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Russell and Teacher of Promise, Ms. Baez represented Zilker Elementary at the Austin ISD Salutes Celebration. They were recognized for their achievements this school year.

We had a great College Week at Zilker last week where we learned all about what our teachers did after high school. We learned that over 25 of our teachers went to college in Texas, two teachers went to universities in other countries, one teacher joined the Air Force, and many other fun facts! We also had fun getting to see what our teachers looked like when they were in college.
